An interview of Diana Stephenson conducted by Scott O’Donnell on June 15, 2023. Stephenson presented horses and was also a member of “The Stephensons” a highly regarded dog act. Stephenson originally worked on several circuses with her family in Ireland and England before emigrating to the United States. She performed on the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus for 17 years in the 1960s and 1970s. For three years she performed at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Circus World in Haines City, Florida and later at Circus Circus Casino in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada.
