CWM Audio 5
G. A. Gustad Recording
31 minutes, 56 seconds
A recording of G.A. Gustad of Sparta, Wisconsin, playing the shaker chimes at Circus World Museum in 1967. Gustad played the shaker chimes while working for the Dode Fisk Circus in 1905 and 1906 and may have also been the director of the circus's band. An informal conversation, possibly an unintentional recording, between Gustad and various unidentified museum personnel can be heard after the playing of the chimes.
