Milonga Escalante Cline was a noted circus performer, dauther of circus owner Mariano Escalante, and wife of circus performer and animal trainer Johnny Cline. Milonga Cline performed throughout Mexico and the United States with the Escalante Brothers Circus until the late 1930s, and then with the Al G. Barnes Circus, Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus, Russell Brothers Circus, and others.
