Lucio Cristiani was a noted circus performer, acrobat, equestrian and barback rider, manager, and owner. Born into the Italian Cristiani circus family, Cristiani worked in Europe and later in the United States with the Cristiani Brothers Circus, and others, including the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the King Brothers and Cristiani Circus, and the Clyde Beatty-Cole Brothers Circus.
