Interview with Tommy Hanneford, conducted by Dan Draper in 1988 in Milwaukee, WI.
Tommy Hanneford (1928-2005), was born into the Hanneford circus family and began performing as a clown when he was five years old. He was a noted bareback rider and equestrian performer, referred to as the "funniest man on horseback" for his comedy equestrian acts. Hanneford, with his wife Struppi, and sister Kay, toured as the "Hanneford Family Circus," and later the "Royal Hanneford Circus."
