Struppi Hanneford (1931-2014) was a noted circus performer, known for her trapeze act as "Princess Tajana," as well as other aereal, equestrian and wild animal acts. Born Gertrude Zimmerman in Germany, Hanneford performed in Europe before coming to America in the 1950s and marrying Tommy Hanneford, of the Hanneford Family Circus.
