Stevens is a longtime circus performer who, along with his wife Judy, worked with props, seals, horses, and baboons at different times over a career that spanned multiple circuses including King Bros. Circus, Garden Bros. Circus, and Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
