An interview with Ron Severini conducted by Pete Shrake on August 11, 2025. Ron Severini is a performer, professional clown, and author whose career spans over 60 years. A 1971 graduate of Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Clown College Severini went on to a long career with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus eventually rising to become Boss Clown in 1975. He was the Ringling Ambassador of Goodwill in 1977 and 1978 and would later serve the Dean of Clown College, Director of Clowns, Special Project Manager, Clown Casting Director, and Comedic Creative Consultant for the show.
